Our Story 

Deafinitive Solutions was founded on a simple belief: Everyone deserves the opportunity to build a life filled with independence, purpose, and possibility.

 

After years working as an American Sign Language Intepreter, founder Ana Maritza witnessed firsthand how often Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, and Hard of Hearing individuals were limited not by their abilities, but by barriers within systems that failed to understand them. She saw talented individuals overlooked for jobs. She saw adults dependent on others because accessible opportunities were unavailable. She saw families exhausted from advocating for services that should have been accessible from the beginning. Most importantly, she saw people with dreams, talents, and goals who simply needed the right support, resources, and connections to thrive.

 

Deafinitive Solutions was created to change that. Rather than asking, "what can we do for this person?" the organization asks "what can we build together?"

Today, Deafinitive Solutions helps individuals pursue education, prepare for employment, build life skills, access their communities, and connect with opportunities that might otherwise remain out of reach.

Whether helping a client with providing an interpreter, prepare for a job interview, enroll in college courses, attend a community experience, or connect with professionals who inspire their future goals. Deafinitive Solutions believes every person deserves the chance to explore their potential.
